“AMAZING place, hosted by AMAZING people. Martin their pup is incredible as well. The nightly fires with the great company wraps up the day quite well. If you love the outdoors, this is the place for you. The caves and waterfalls in Sparta are to die for and the Dan Holman Creek (on the property) is heavenly to go sit in!”

“This is my absolute favorite place to stay, our hosts, Dan and Jo, felt just like family. The property is gorgeous, very clean, very comforting. There are multiple places to hike nearby, multiple places to get fresh produce, there is a cute stream on the property, a lovely assortment of plants to look at(and even nibble on) and plenty to look at as well. There are 3 doggos, Bonnie, Martin, and Nipper...they were happy to join us for morning coffee and they kept us company while we wandered. I highly recommend staying here :) I am very excited to come back”

“If you want to see burgees waterfall this is the best place to live. This is beautiful farm house. You will not miss the morning sun shine. We absolutely adored this wonderful farmhouse - beautiful views all around, birds chirping and quiet sounds of country life. It was so nice to have weekend away from the hustle-bustle of our busy lives, much needed! The farm animals were addition to our trip, we really enjoyed it! This farmhouse is the hidden gem and we would definitely recommend it to others”

“The hosts Dan and Joann were so nice, helpful, and accommodating. They recommended places to go in the area. We were very pleased with our stay. The dogs were nice and friendly and amazingly helpful. One of them guided us through a trail that is on their property that you must check out of you stay with them. It was very peaceful and serene there.”

“Wow! This place is AMAZING! If you want to relax on a beautiful 300 acre farm away from your busy life...this is definitely the place to do it. It's comfortable as can be, the views are spectacular, you can pick blueberries or help gather eggs. There's groomed hiking trails to explore the farm that will lead you to a pretty little creek that comes out from a giant stone outcropping...this includes a huge cave. The hosts are just the kindest, most hospitable folks you've ever met. You can get up in the morning and have coffee on the front (colonnaded) porch while the hosts tell you about the local history and even play you a few songs since they're also accomplished musicians. There's dogs to scratch if you weren't able to bring yours. They're totally pet friendly in case you bring your own. 10 out of 10 would go back in a heartbeat. Just check out the pics!!”

All the amenities of home but NO TV,which just made the peace and quiet so much better We walked over some of the 350 acres along with one of the 3 sweet beautiful dog Danny came over to our campfire and played the Mandolin Guitar and Sang for us AMAZING . So if you EVER need a getaway for next to nothing I highly recommend the WHITE MULE”

“Adorable little cabin. The bed is super comfortable. If you’re an outdoorsy nature lover, you will not want to leave. the kitchen and eating area is actually on the front porch (open air) and there’s this really cool vine covered trellis just off the front porch. I could just sit and drink coffee here all day. The whole property is fenced, dog, friendly, and unlike other cabins in the area, they do not require a 2 night stay. There’s actually four rental cabins on this property, so if this one is booked on your date, check out the red mule and blue mule. They are next-door, but there’s enough trees and bushes separating each one that you don’t feel like you’re on top of each other. In fact, it’s super quiet. Cabin was clean and stocked with all the necessities.”
